Riley Karrio’s memory will live on forever at Hart Academy. Riley was an essential part of our little school. She and her mom, Nicole, embodied everything we teach and value.

A little bit about Riley: Riley had a heart of gold and was known for her contagious smile and fierce fire that was always lit inside of her. She was fun loving, spunky, sassy, independent, sweet, and caring. She was a lover of dirty bare feet, bugs, playing outside, and all animals. She loved learning and we were honored to be touched by the many blessings she brought into our lives. She marched to her own beat. Riley’s love touched everyone she knew and strangers instantly became her chosen family. Her sudden passing has truly shook the world. Riley was too good for our broken world, but her friends, family, teachers, and especially mom, will miss her forever.

Riley wrote, “I love my mom. I remember when I hug my mom. I love my friends. My favorite is when I got dirty. I love when I got a lot of friends. I love my mom.”

“For what I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18
