Our approach & curriculums
Hart Academy combines a traditional and Montessori setting. Lessons in certain subjects lead to a more hands on approach, while others lead to a more traditional approach. Daily lessons are structured and routine. However, independent work time, electives, and break time are more flexible per student’s interests and preferences. This keeps students engaged and interested.
Hart Academy prioritizes small class size and even smaller lesson size. This allows specific & targeted lessons to be supplemented for each child as needed. Lessons are taught in small, targeted groups based on student learning level. This also allows students to progress at their own pace to master the material. Students are able to cross grade levels based on understanding of skills. Older, independent students guide their own learning with teacher frequent check ins.
Hart Academy offers several schedule options to best accommodate your family.

- Families can choose from one, two, three, or four day schedule that works best for you.

- A la carte electives (history, science, life skills, and/or art)
