I, Gabby Sloan, grew up in a small town in Massachusetts, with my mom, dad, brother, and sister. I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Development from The University of New Hampshire. Later, I received my Master of Education from The University of Massachusetts, Boston. I am a certified teacher, with a license in special education as well.

I have taught in the public school system since graduating college. Over the years, I have come to realize my values and teaching style differ from the public schools. Thus began Hart Academy and the idea of a hybrid homeschool! I want to put students, families, and the fundamentals of education first. 

At the forefront of my many goals for this program is to build a trusting relationship with each student, instill a love of honest learning, willingness to problem solve, and have so much fun! I aim to share the truth in love.

I look forward to growing Hart Academy while keeping our values, students, and parents at the forefront; always.
